Review of Paper Towns
To have read this book is to have revealed one’s self. I now wonder how I am perceived. I now wonder how I perceive. Strangely enough, I feel like I need to write some profound statement that describes the brilliance of this book, though I can not tell you why. It feels as if just telling you the book was good is not enough. To the best of my ability, I will attempt to review this book well.
For starters, it was ridiculously funny. And not just to me; it got to the point at which I was reading my dad quotes from the book, and he laughed too. Not to sound too omigod, that was, like, so good-- but the book was really funny and really interesting and really … well, neat. The characters were wildly amusing-- almost dangerously immature, just almost. Every chapter had at least one laugh-provoking line. It was amazing.
I hadn’t yet read anything of John Green’s before, but now I am most certainly going to read more. Granted though, that may mostly be due to his sense of humor. Well, I think that I have babbled quite enough, but I shall end my review with three words: READ THIS BOOK!
