Review of The Midnight Twins
Before I start, let me just say that this will be a pretty short review. The beginning of the book I found exceedingly interesting. Twins with different birthdays. That’s just cool. I liked the story quite a bit, but it took me a while to get all the names straight-- which is usually not an issue while I read-- though it could just be a fluke. Suspense seems to be a key tool in Jacquelyn Mitchard’s writing. It was a quick read (a little under three hours), so it didn’t suck up my entire day or anything. That’s a plus. By the time I reached the end of the book, I was looking for more. I wanted to know how Mallory and Drew would pan out. I wanted to know if Meredith was happy with what happened to David. Mostly, I think I just wanted a sequel. Bear in mind, though, that I pretty much always want a sequel. Bring on Book 2!
