Review of Philippa Fisher's Fairy Godsister
Philippa Fisher has been pretty sad lately: her best friend just moved away, her parents are always embarrassing her, and she's not very popular at school. Then one day her fairy godsister Daisy arrives and grants her three wishes. But Daisy is not easy to get along with, and Philippa keeps wishing for the wrong things. Will these two be able to solve Philippa's problems before Daisy's time runs out?
I really enjoyed this book. Philippa is a highly likeable girl, and Kessler does an excellent job of creating the other characters. I particularly liked the fairy world that Kessler created, which we get glimpses of through Daisy. I recommend this book to anyone who likes fantasy and magic, or anyone who just likes happy endings.
